Spain: pepper exports up 26%
The volume of Spanish pepper exports increased by 26% in the first six months of 2008, according to the Spanish Federation of Fruit and Vegetable Producers/Exporters (FEPEX). These exports were worth a total of €325,5 M, 10,6% up on the same period of 2007.

The United Kingdom has increased its pepper imports from Holland, while Germany, a key importer of Dutch peppers, received a smaller volume in January to July 2008 compared to the same period in 2007.
