Macaroni With Pepper Sauce

Ingredients

Preparation

1. Peel the onions and cut into thin slices. Clean the peppers, remove stems and seeds,  and cut into cubes.
2. Heat the oil and the butter in a frying pan. Add the onion and sauté. When the onion turns golden brown, add the peppers. Mix well, add the tomato, the basil and some salt. Slowly pour the milk into the mixture. Cook until the peppers are soft and the sauce is thick.
3. Cook the macaroni pasta in abundant salted water. Drain and mix with the pepper sauce. Garnish with parmesan cheese, grill and serve.

Suggestion: This pepper sauce goes well with any type of grilled white fish, such as monkfish or hake.
